About This Site
As stated on the left this website is privately owned and has no connection to any council or group.
I set this site up as I have great interest in Clackmannan Tower and the area as a whole, I also live in Clackmannan.
One day my hope is to maybe have some means of taking ownership over the tower and having it fully restored so people may visit etc, this is not impossible as buying the tower is not the most expensive part, the hard part is proving to have the means and funds to repair and keep the tower in a safe and stable condition.
There is a few idea I have which I am currently working on which involve investors, please contact me if you think you may be able to help in any way, I will off course update more information as soon as its available but until then the information I can give is limited, but some shared ownership scheme with the towers well being in mind seems most feasible.
It is about time this tower was in my opinion restored back to its former glory, Historic Scotland do not seem to be doing much about it but then it does all come down to available funding etc and I am sure the tower is not on a tourist "Hot Spot" so too speak.
